Pojava prvih mlecnih zuba predstavlja veliku radost u porodici, ali i novu obavezu za roditelje. Kada poceti sa pranjem zubica, cime je najbolje odrzavati higijenu usta, kako odabrati najbolju pastu za zube, samo su neka od pitanja koja ce vas muciti kada se zabele zubici u ustima vaseg malisana Najcesce su donji sekutici prvi zubi koje ce dobiti vase dete. Zatim ce se pojaviti gornji sekutici, pa onda ostali, mada redosled nije precizan. Prosecan period kada se pojavljuju prvi zubi je oko 9 meseci, mada su sve varijacije od 4. meseca do godinu dana prihvatljive i ne bi trebalo da izazivaju bilo kakvu zabrinutost. Nicanje kompletnog mlecnog zubnog niza trebalo bi da se zavrsi do 30. meseca.

Sta su to neonatalni zubi?

Ukoliko se zubi pojave pre 4. meseca smatra se daje malo preuranjeno, ali opet ne predstavlja razlog za zabrinutost. U ovakvim slucajevima je potrebno da stomatolog pogleda dete, jer se nekada radi o mineralizovanim tvorevinama koje lice na zube. One se strucno nazivaju neonatalni zubi i mogu da se pojave i u prvim nedeljama po rodjenju bebe. Njihovo prerano nicanje ili pojava moze da predstavlja smetnju kod dojenja jer povredjuju bradavicu, a ukoliko su vrlo labavi (jer nemaju korena), potrebno ih je ukloniti da ne bi eventualno doslo do ispadanja i udisanja.

Kad zubic kasni?

Ako zubi ne izadju posle 12 meseci, to se smatra zakasnelom denticijom i potrebno je da se konsultuje decji stomatolog koji ce odrediti nacin daljeg pracenja deteta. U pitanju moze da bude nedostatak zuba (ANODONCIJA ili hipodoncija), ili postojanje smetnji na putu nicanja. U slucaju ranijeg ili zakasnelog nicanja prvih zuba treba ocekivati isto i kod smene sa stalnim zubima.

Sta je zubni plak?

Osnovni uzrocnik oboljenja zuba i desni je zubni (dentalni) plak. Radi se o nevidljivoj opni koja prekriva povrsinu gledji. Prvo se stvara jedan proteinski film usled talozenja belancevina iz pljuvacke. On ima zastitnu ulogu jer se preko njega obezbedjuje razmena minerala izmedju usne duplje i povrsine zuba. Minerali, prvenstveno kalcijum i fosfati, se neprekidno taloze i razlazu sa povrsine gledji. Ovi procesi se nazivaju remineralizacija i demineralizacija i nalaze se u ravnotezi koja cuva celovitost povrsine gledji

Odmah po nicanju, mlecni zubi mogu da se pokvare. Bakterije koje izazivaju karijes (kariogene bakterije) se prenose sa roditelja na dete. Posto je majka najvise u kontaktu sa malisanom, najvaznije je da ona ima zdrave zube i da redovno odrzava njihovu. Vrste cetkica za pranje zuba Prema cvrstini vlakana cetkice se dele na cvrste (hard), srednje cvrste (medium), meke (soft) i ultra meke (ultra soft). Cvrste se vise ne preporucuju ni za jedan uzrast. Tendencija je da se koriste soft i ultra soft cetkice. Decje cetkice mogu da budu i srednje cvrstine. Osnovna odlika kvaliteta je duzina vremena u kome su vlakna neostecena i ne pocinju da ispadaju ili se razmicu. Vecu sigurnost i kvalitet garantuju cetkice poznatijih svetskih proizvodjaca, pogotovo ako imaju atest Americkog stomatoloskog udruzenja (ADA). Bez obzira na vrstu cetkice maksimalni vek koriscenja je do tri meseca, posle cega one postaju neefikasne i mogu da ostecuju desni i zube.
